The end of the monkeys is already creeping in, and most of us are too busy staring into the screen to notice it. We used to climb, fight, build, and survive with our hands, but now we sit still while the machines learn how to think for us. I painted the monkey like a ghost because that part of us is fading, slipping into memory while AI stands up in a suit and takes our place. The eye at the bottom is watching it all happen, like the last witness to the moment when instinct died and code was born.
